Fleet Center (aka the Gaahden)

Looking north from the Custom House Tower is the Fleet Center, the home of the Celtics and Bruins, and still referred to as The Gaahden by natives due to its previous name, the Boston Garden. Adjacent are the white suspension towers of the Zakim-Bunkerhill Bridge, new gateway to Boston from parts north. Traffic crosses the Zakim and goes under ground (the Big Dig) through the heart of Boston. The old elevated Central Artery has been dismantled
